Savvy has participated as an expositor on Advanced Factories, the main meeting point where industrial companies seeking new digital solutiones meet every year.
On this fair, we presented a new product called 'Cycle Optimizer' for improving cycle times.
What is the Cycle Optimizer?
It is a tool that, by leveraging artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms, improves cycle execution time, that is, the time a machine takes to produce a part.
Put it another way, our goal is for the machine to produce higher numbers of parts during their production time without any mechanical modification or negative impact to quality.
How does it work?
The tool collects machining cycle data at a high frequency for later analysis, and detecting steps in the program where the part can be approached faster.
For this, we fully utilise our own Edge & Cloud technologies, with a greatly specialized team of engineers and mathematicians at our back.
Who is this for?
The product is mainly geared towards machining shopfloors & plants working with batches and series of considerable size.
These companies frequently face highly competitive scenarios:
- Raw materials costs on the rise
- Supplies are ever more expensive.
- New competitors pop up from emerging countries..
All of this results in mandatory process optimizations in order to stay competitive. Thanks to this solution, they can apply constant optimization throughout lengthy productions, which allows them to produce greater numbers of parts leveraging the same resources.
Fernando Sáenz, CEO of Savvy, addresses the audience at Advanced Factories to explain the uses of this new product, with a success case carried out in the automotive sector.
